Thanksgiving 2022

Thursday, November 24 –

Lots of food (esp. desserts) and lots of fun was had at Laredo & Andrea’s house at Afton. The weather wasn’t very nice but it was cozy inside by the woodstove.

The kids table was very active
Daniella very happy with her food!
Chocolate pies
Homemade pizza

We had an Italian theme this year. Lazagne and gnocci with sausage, homemade pizza, yummy sour dough rolls, ham and salad. Plus 8 pies and two cobblers! So no one went home hungry.

Time for pie!
So many choices…

Saturday, November 27 –

Cim and Courtney hosted this year’s Thanksgiving get-together at their home near Afton. We managed to snap a few pictures and they turned out pretty well despite some tears and other mishaps.

Thanksgiving Feast 2018

Thursday, November 22 –

A great time was had by those who could gather at Sunny’s for a feast and family time. I got some nice shots of the fun.

We had a great day in Lubbock at the Tidwell’s. We had way too much food though as usual. I took a few group family pictures while I had everyone together and dressed nicely.

Christmas at Granny’s

Monday, December 26 –

Everybody met at Granny’s in Lubbock for an evening gathering. I guess we hadn’t consumed enough snacks, food and dessert over the holidays already…

Wonderful Christmas Day

Sunday, December 25 –

The day started out with presents from Santa and then we went to church. After which, the married kids joined us for lunch at the house and more “Christmas-ing”.

Supper in Lubbock

Friday, November 25 –

We traveled to Lubbock again for a very special party with my uncle Harold from North Carolina, my cousin Sheila and her son, Joshua, who is now stationed in Texas. Cousin, Kristin hosted and really spoiled us all. Lots of family was there and it was a good time. We kind of did a potluck thing and the kids played a game called “heads up”.

Big Thanksgiving Get-Together

Thursday, November 24 –

There was a pretty large group this year at our annual get together in Wilson. The weather was perfect and the food was amazing. Everything was so delicious. Several new dishes made appearances this year.

Christmas at the Pringle’s (almost)

For the last few years we have enjoyed our Christmas get-togethers at Misty and Kevin’s. Again this year we were looking forward to it. However, at the last minute (due to unforeseen plumbing issues) we had to move the party to mom’s house.

It was as fun as ever. Lots of food, family and love.
