Roaring Springs Ranch Rodeo

Friday, August 25 –

As always, the evening starts off with a prayer and the national anthem. It’s always so moving.

This boy, Riggen Greer, was the “wool fighter” in the “Muttin’ Bustin'” which is wild sheep riding for kids.

Fun at the Splash Park

Thursday, August 2 –

The day started with a good breakfast.

I love the look of all those precious faces lined up.

After breakfast, some of the group went back to Fredericksburg for more shopping and to finish seeing the museum. Atlanta, Aspen and I took some of the little ones to a splash park located in Kerrville at the Guadalupe River Park.

After we were done playing in the water, we walked around by the river to dry off.

Shopping in Fredericksburg

First things first. The goldfish have to be checked on.

“Callahan, don’t get in it.”

“Elsie, you’re not adding rocks again, are you?”

Finally we made it to town. Most of the guys went to the Museum of the Pacific War, but the girls wanted to shop. This store with bedding and linens was amazing.

Marian takes a break while waiting for us to shop.

The natural baby store was a big hit.

At lunch we met up for some traditional German food. The girls showed off their new flower bands.

We couldn’t leave without riding “Ole Paint”.

That evening the boys tried out their souvenirs.

A relaxing evening while waiting for supper to get ready.
