A beautiful sunrise was in full bloom as we were loading up.
In the first valley we came to, a blanket of fog was hanging in the low spots.
Great Granny gave Marian a rocking chair.
Atlanta wanted Stockton and Carolina to pick out their own Christmas presents at Hobby Lobby. I think we spent 4 hours there and didn’t even make it to every isle. They had so much fun and got some real treasures.

Thanksgiving is always better with Christmas decorations up.
Carolina made this darling banner for the front entry.
We decided to use some of my vintage luggage for a fun new holiday look.
In the kitchen, our Christmas village lights up this green suitcase.
Thanksgiving lunch consisted of all the traditional Thanksgiving dishes. The turkey was wild and harvested by the boys.
It was kind of hard to concentrate on the food with Marian stealing the show.

Late tonight, the Goodwins arrived from Tennessee. Marian wasn’t too sure about all the strange faces that she hadn’t seen in a while. We enjoyed watching her while mom and dad had some supper.
The next morning, Marian was having a little breakfast herself.
She let Stockton feed her some sweet potato.
That evening, she fell asleep in Aunt Carolina’s arms.
