While in Tennessee, we got to attend the wedding of one of the West girls, Cece. The venue was also at the farm of some of our friends, the Lee’s. Everything was beautiful and the weather held out and was perfect.

Friday, October 23 –
The Life of a 20-month-old is a busy thing.
There’s the ironing to do.
…and you have to keep up with the computer work.
The phone never seems to stop ringing.
And just like mom, she has to nurse her baby throughout the day.
Wednesday, October 21 –
With almost certain rain threatening the area, we decided this afternoon that it might be a good time to visit our grand kids in Tennessee. We left around 7 pm tonight and drove all night. We arrived in Tennessee a little before 9 am. Marian was happy to welcome Carolina and even Stockton, but wasn’t too sure about Grammie and Granddad. It had been a long time since Cimarron’s wedding which was the last time she had seen us. Alan, however, warmed up a little faster.

Today Atlanta turned 25 years old. I just wanted to post a few pictures to help celebrate her big day. Daughter, sister, friend, wife and mother; you’ve been them all with grace and beauty. We love you!

Just when you thought somebody’s grand kids couldn’t get any cuter, here come some more phone pics from Tennessee. This little chunk of sweetness weighs 18 lbs. now.
Marian had so much fun playing in Carolina’s playhouse. We would come to the sliding side window and pretend to order something. Then we would pay with a little “credit card”. Carolina’s little plastic cash register makes a little computer sound when you swipe the card through it. She also enjoyed washing the dishes, cooking and driving the car.
Wednesday, May 20 –
Marian loves music…especially when she’s creating it.
Stockton and Carolina have been having a blast using Jordan’s forge. They’ve been making hooks, S-hooks, and small fire pokers. They take turns pounding metal and cranking the blower.
